The purpose of the study is to design the Saveh Industrial Town Wastewater Treatment Plant based on the latest design criteria, environmental standards, and state-of-the-art technology.

In the design option, the main mechanism for wastewater treatment is the use of biological agents under anaerobic and aerobic conditions. The high levels of pollutants in industrial wastewater make it impossible to achieve sufficient efficiency for pollutant removal from a single system.

In the Saveh Industrial Town Wastewater Treatment Plant design, raw wastewater enters the anaerobic unit after passing through the debris, granulation, and balancing units, and then the effluent is transferred to the aeration, final sedimentation, and disinfection units.
