The purpose of constructing the Nehzatabad Reservoir Dam is to store water and control the floods in the region, which ultimately stores these floods for optimal use during droughts and dry seasons. By storing and storing runoff, the irrigated agricultural lands of the region will be significantly improved and the existing gardens will be developed. In addition, the rain-fed agricultural lands of the region will be converted to irrigated lands, and a significant change will be achieved in the development of agriculture and the prosperity of livestock farming.

The construction site of the Nehzatabad Dam is located 13 kilometers south of Fereydounshahr County. Access to the desired area is possible via the Isfahan-Freydounshahr asphalt road and then via the Fereydounshahr-Sibak-Nehzatabad asphalt road, which is 13 kilometers long, to the village of Nehzatabad, and then by taking a dirt road about 1.5 kilometers long to the left side of the axis. Geographically, the construction site of the Nahzat Abad Dam is located at latitude 32°52′1.2″ and longitude 50°7′6″.
